EMI Nashville recording artist Eric Church will bring “The Outsiders World Tour” to MTS Centre in WINNIPEG, MB on April 8, 2015.   Tickets go on-sale Friday, January 16 at 10AM at www.ticketmaster.ca.  Special guest on this show will be Brothers Osborne.

After closing out 2014 with country music’s top-selling album, the Platinum-certified and genre-busting The Outsiders, Eric Church storms in to 2015 with four GRAMMY nominations (Best Country Album for The Outsiders, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Give Me Back My Hometown” and Best Country Group/Duo Performance for “Raise ‘Em Up” with Keith Urban) and a new addition to his widely successful Outsiders World Tour 2015.

“Eric Church is our greatest working rock star” proclaimed Stereogum, referring to Church as “…. a down-home everyman whose conversational vocal delivery surges into something huge when it needs to and who comes off as a perfectly genuine human being even when leading the choreographed rigors of an arena show. Church’s current album, The Outsiders, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and the Billboard Country Albums Chart earlier this year, featuring his No. 1 hit “Give Me Back My Hometown” and his current single “Talladega.” The Outsiders is the follow-up to Church’s Platinum-certified album Chief, (named the 2012 Album of the Year by both CMA and ACM, and GRAMMY-nominated for Best Country Album) which featured five Top 20 singles: “Homeboy” (certified Platinum for sales in excess of one million singles); the Top 10 “Like Jesus Does” and the Top 5 “Creepin’” (both certified Gold for sales in excess of 500,000 singles each); and two No. 1 hits “Drink in My Hand” (certified Platinum) and “Springsteen” (certified Double Platinum for sales in excess of two million singles). Church’s 2006 debut album, Sinners Like Me (2006) and his sophomore album Carolina (2009) are both RIAA Gold-certified. Carolina had three hit singles: the Top 10 “Hell on the Heart” as well as Top 20 hit “Smoke A Little Smoke” and Top 10 smash “Love Your Love The Most,” which were both certified Gold. Sinners Like Me spawned three Top 20 singles: “How ‘Bout You,” “Two Pink Lines,” and “Guys Like Me.”

ERIC CLAPTON TO RELEASE 3-DISC “BEST OF” COMPILATION, FOREVER MAN

FOREVER MAN SPANS THREE DECADES OF LEGENDARY SONGWRITER, VOCALIST, GUITARIST’S SOLO CAREER 

Legendary songwriter, vocalist, guitarist and 19-time Grammy Award-winner Eric Clapton will release a brand-new ‘Best Of’ compilation, entitled Forever Man 

Featuring 51 tracks over three CDs, Forever Man spans three decades of Clapton’s Reprise Records years and features classic studio tracks and a Blues-themed disc. 

The collection traces much of Clapton’s career featuring the Grammy Award-winning tracks “Change The World”, “Tears In Heaven”, “Bad Love” and including materials from Eric’s Grammy Award-winning albums From The Cradle and Unplugged.Guest performers include B.B. King and J.J. Cale. 

 The release of Forever Man coincides with an upcoming tour, which includes nine concert dates in celebration of his 70^th birthday on March 30^th. The shows will take place at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden on May 1^st and 2^nd and at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 14^th, 15^th, 17^th, 18^th, 20^th, 21^st, and 23^rd. The shows will feature Clapton, accompanied by his band members Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White, and Michelle John, with opening support act Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders.  

Forever Man will be available in multiple configurations: a 3-CD, a 2-CD, a digital download, and a vinyl 2-LP set that will follow. The package also comes with liner notes written by noted rock journalist and author Malcolm Dome.
