A current shortage of doctors has lead to a temporary suspension of emergency room services at the Roblin Health Centre.
Michelle McKay from Prairie Mountain Health says one of the four doctors at the centre ended working their on Tuesday with two more set to leave at the end of May.
McKay says a new doctor will be arriving at the centre at the end of the month, but service suspensions may still occour.
"We do have an international medical graduate who will be starting work in Roblin hopefully by the end of May or beginning of June. So then we'll be looking at two physicians in Roblin and I will be working with the new physician around what sort of services they can continue to provide in terms of acute and ER, but I anticipate we will certainly have some suspensions with only two physicians there."
The current suspension is scheduled to end on May 29.
McKay says they ideally want three to four physicians on staff to fully maintain their services.
