An extreme cold weather warning is in effect for several Parkland communities.
Among the areas affected are the RM of Dauphin, Gilbert Plains, Grandview, Ethelbert, Roblin, Lakeshore, Russel Binscarth, Mossey River, and Riding Mountain West.
Wind chills are expected to be at or below minus 40 overnight, and into tomorrow morning.
Environment Canada recommends people in the affected areas, stay inside as much as possible, and for those who do need to go outside, to dress for extreme colds.
