Dauphin RCMP say a 65-year-old man was assaulted during a recent break and enter in town, and they're asking the public for information.
Close to 2 in the morning October 16th, the detachment received a report of a break and enter at a home in Dauphin.
Police say two suspects forced their way into the home through the door and one of the residents was assaulted.
A 65-year-old man was taken to hospital, treated, and released.
Police describe the suspects as six feet tall with slender builds, and say both were wearing hooded jackets, one grey and one black.
Staff Sergeant Nolan Suss says, "This appears to be an isolated incident... we are asking anyone with information to contact us."
