Selkirk RCMP have responded to a report of possible human remains, which has now been determined historic.
On Saturday at around 1 pm, Selkirk RCMP responded to a call of what seemed to be human remains along the banks of the Red River near highway 212 and 204.
Employees from the Manitoba Historical Resource Branch after arriving on scene, have now concluded that the remains found on scene are historic.
The investigation has been turned over to the Manitoba Historical Resource Branch for further study.
