ABOUT DAUPHIN’S COUNTRYFEST

The 26th annual Dauphin’s Countryfest takes place June 25-28, 2015. Canada’s longest running country music festival, Dauphin’s Countryfest has been attracting the biggest names in country music to one of the most beautiful regions of Manitoba since 1990. Situated on the edge of Riding Mountain National Park, the unique outdoor amphitheatre built into the side of an escarpment provides every patron a perfect view from any one of the 14,000 seats in the house.

Dauphin’s Countryfest is a not-for-profit organization that consists of a 12-member volunteer Board of Directors and a membership of more than 2000 loyal supporters. Organizers credit over 2000 volunteers who work tirelessly each year providing essential services for the festival weekend, while fundraising for their respective community organizations. In addition to various community contributions, Countryfest pays out approximately $150,000 each year to community organizations that provide services for the festival.

Dauphin’s Countryfest was named a finalist at the prestigious Canadian Tourism Awards in 2013, nominated in the category of Tourism Event of the Year. The festival was also awarded the 2012 Philanthropist of the Year Award from The Dauphin & District Community Foundation, given to individuals or businesses that show the true spirit of philanthropy and giving.

Roblin's Jayce Hawryluk returned from injury over the weekend and didn't waste any time making an impact with the Brandon Wheat Kings. He was named the WHL's Player of the Week Monday.
Dauphin's household hazardous waste day has come and gone, but people don't have to wait for that one day to properly dispose of such items.
Highway 5 about eight miles west of Dauphin is closed to all traffic right now.
The Dauphin Health Auxiliary is being recognized for its contributions to Dauphin's cancer care program.
Two health care announcements in the Parkland have been postponed due to the rough weather.
A report from the Fraser Institute says the median for health treatment wait times has dropped in Manitoba but it`s still above the national number.
The calendar may say spring, but mother nature has other plans for Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

A note from former Dauphinite Gary Procyshyn ...

Hello My Family and Friends and Fans

It was an honor to record and perform lead guitar on Randy Bachman's new song HEAVY BLUES. Its a Canada wide contest and you had to download and perform lead guitar with the track then do a video. (The Album version has PETER FRAMPTON on guitar.)

The most SHARES/LIKES of a song with a video and Randy's favorite performance wins a live jam with him and an awesome Epiphone Guitar. I'd appreciate your support by checking out my lead version and video and share with all your family, friends and band mates to help me be that guy!!

PLEASE "LIKE" THE YOUTUBE LINK by hitting the "thumbs up icon" below the youtube video. If you're not a Youtube account holder just sign up with your email to my channel or join Youtube!!

Recap:
Check out the Youtube video with the link here and be sure to comment and Like on Youtube. Please also SHARE with ALL your FB friends and your own Timeline and LIKE the link on my Facebook ( Gary Procyshyn). You can also FORWARD this email to all your friends and family. :)

Help me get to jam n chat with Randy Bachman. THAT would be cool!. I'm up to 722 views on Youtube after 1 week. That's great! KEEP IT GOING!! (The contest ends April 15th and I'm competing against the likes of Toronto.)
