The calendar may say spring, but mother nature has other plans for Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
According to Environment Canada Meteorologist Natalie Hasell, several areas in both provinces are under winter storm warnings.
"There's a mix of freezing rain and heavy snowfall warnings through southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba and special weather statements through the rest of southern Manitoba. It won't be quite an intense in those areas, but it could still be problematic so that's why we have a special weather statement out for those areas."
Hasell says storms like this are not uncommon for Manitoba at this time of year.
The Parkland region is under a snowfall warning and is expected to get 10 to 15 cm of snow.
There is also a freezing rain warning also in effect for areas south of Riding Mountain National Park, including Brandon, Minnedosa and Neepawa.
Hasell says if you plan on travelling on the highways tonight, be sure to take extra precautions.
