If you're going to be in the Parkland this weekend be prepared for a weekend full of fun.
A number of events will be taking place - some beginning yesterday - including the highly anticipated Manitoba Mud Run, Grandview Kinsmen Mud Bog, PHA Chuckwagon and Chariot Racing weekend in St. Rose, Chamber Days in Clear Lake and the 1st Annual Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Habitat to name a few.
Dauphin will be host to the Manitoba Mud Run, Motorcycle Ride for Habitat and Ramsay Health Fitness Charity Motorcycle Run.
All those events if you are interested in attending begin this morning.

Aboriginal Firefighters Convention
Indigenous firefighters from around the region will be meeting this weekend in Dauphin for an Aboriginal Firefighter Convention.
This weekend will feature a series of educational sessions alongside STARS Air Ambulance.
Community Education Leader and flight paramedic for STARS Air Ambulance, Troy Pauls says a convention like this is great because its brings everyone to one location.
STARS currently operates out of one base in the province of Manitoba.

RHF Back Up And Running
A local business is back up and running after this weeks powerful storms.
Ramsay Health and Fitness, has a number of locations across the Prairies - including Dauphin - was hit this past Sunday after its Yorkton location became entirely flooded.
Co-founder of RHF, Dawson Ramsay says a storm of that magnitude was hard to prepare for.
RHF will be having it's first Charity Motorcycle Run later this morning leaving Dauphin RHF at ten.

Manitoba Near Drowning
A three-year-old girl is in hospital after she nearly drowned in a pool at Elkhorn Resort in Riding Mountain National Park.
She was airlifted to hospital in Winnipeg, and was partially conscious. Earlier this week, an 11-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy drowned while swimming at Grand Beach.

Manitoba Teen Bail
The teenage girl at the centre of an anxious scene at Portage and Main last month is free on bail.
The 17-year-old was arrested July 19th while wandering the intersection in midday traffic, wearing a kabuki mask, holding a rose and waving what was later found to be a replica firearm.
In a confrontation captured on video by several witnesses, a police officer was able to tackle her, putting an end to the bizarre incident. She is facing six charges, including causing a disturbance and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
She must stay with her father and meet a mandatory curfew while on bail.
