The Intermountain Conservation District is celebrating their 20th Anniversary annual banquet on Thursday at the Lions’ Den in the Parkland Recreation Complex.

At this year’s banquet, the conservation district will be acknowledging members who have been with the organization since inception.

"We have five people that have been with Intermountain Conservation District 20 years right since inception," explained Jeff Thiele, from Intermountain Conservation District.  "So we have Ernie Bayduza from Dauphin;

Mervyn Chico Kotak from Gilbert Plains; Don White from Dauphin; Albert Strilkiwski from Ethelbert and then we also have a recently deceased member from Dauphin, Wes Bernat, and his family will be present at the

banquet.  They will receive an award on his behalf."

This year’s recipients of the IMCD Conservation Award are Boris and Karen Michaleski.
