A 19-year-old man has been arrested by Brandon police after three seperate incidents last week.
Brandon police say the first incident occurred on April 12th, when a 27-year-old male was walking on a bike path near Fotheringham Drive and was approached by two males forcing him to withdraw cash from a nearby A-T-M brandishing a weapon - The victim was not injured.
On April 15th, two other seperate attacks occured one involving a 70-year-old man who was approached by a male who demanded cash and the victim`s vehicle near 34th Street and Victoria Avenue.
A struggle ensued which resulted in the suspect stabbing the victim numerous times in the head and face area. The victim has since been transported to Winnipeg with serious injuries as a result of the attack.
Another attack occured later that day, and police investigation has linked all three robberies to the same suspect.
The 19-year-old Brandon man was arrested for robbery with offensive weapon X 3, Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Fraudulent use of a Credit Card X 2.
