The title of best bannock in Dauphin goes to a repeat winner.
Marlene Chartrand came out on top last night, as the Dauphin Friendship Centre hosted their second annual Bannock Making Contest.
Chartrand -- who was the winner at last year's contest -- wasn't shy about telling the community about her secret to success.
"This year I put an egg, a little bit of sugar, a little bit of salt, milk, egg, margarine and sour cream!"
Chartrand also says that the recipe she used this year was different from last year's, using margarine instead of butter.
