A couple of Parkland area grads are among 14 students receiving scholarships this year from Sunrise Credit Union.
A total of $24,000 is being shared among the deserving candidates, who were rated on academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, volunteerism, community support, and essay quality.
Adel Wiebe of Grandview, Amanda Mielke of Erickson, Annalyn Quesnel of Minnedosa, and Hayden Mackedenski of Rossburn each received $1,000 scholarships.
Sunrise Credit Union congratulates all of the recipients, who were selected from a pool of 60 applications.
