A specialized system of farming is being instructed to producers in Manitoba.
This Thursday, producers and farmers will have the opportunity to attend a sheep farm tour workshop put on by the Manitoba Sheep Association.
Member of the Manitoba Sheep Association Board, Kate Basford says the workshop concentrates on the Intensive Management system.
"It focuses on really paying attention to what you are doing... your selection of sheep, how you feed, feeding effectively, low-cost looking for high production levels."
The workshop will take place in Altona hosted by Albert Geisbrecht.
