The Fork River area is dealing with significant flooding after all the storms we've had here in the Parkland.
Emily Pylypchuk, who lives north of town, says the fields are like lakes.
"It started raining about 4 o'clock this morning, the power went off about ten to 2 and it came back on about quarter after 2. I woke up again about 4 and it was pouring rain."
Pam de Rocquigny with Manitoba Agriculture says thunderstorms since Sunday night have brought variable amounts of rain to the province, causing some crop lodging.
Pylypchuk says there had been flooding in Fork River for five years in a row, with only last year being dry.
