It's going to be a muddy weekend in Dauphin, no matter what the forecast.
The annual Manitoba Mud Run begins Saturday, with participants able to compete in a number of obstacle courses around Selo Ukraina.
Co-race organizer Clayton Swanton says the Mud Run just keeps on getting bigger every year.
"The Mud Run started four years ago and it keeps growing. Basically, it is 10+ kilometres... every year there seems to be more and more (obstacles). We just did a count for our obstacles this year and we're at over 30."
The Manitoba Mud Run was founded in 2012 after a group of Dauphinites participated in similar mudder events across Canada and the United States.
