The owner of Dauphin's McDonald's is crediting nice weather and hard work for a very successful McHappy Days.

Brady Johnson says more than $5,500 was raised yesterday, compared to about $3,400 the year before.

"Nice blue skies and warm temperatures and a fantastic job by the volunteers from the Dauphin Bible Camp and we really exceeded what we expected to do."

A dollar from each Happy Meal, Big Mac, and any hot beverage sold yesterday went to the fundraiser, and volunteers were accepting donations as well.

Funds raised will be split between the Dauphin Bible Camp and Ronald McDonald House, with more going to the bible camp.
