A 40-year-old from Birdtail Sioux First Nation is wanted by police following a stabbing in that community earlier this year.
Manitoba First Nations Police were notified on January 3rd about a man suffering from stab wounds.
Officers transported the man to Russell Health Centre where is currently recovering from his injuries.
An investigation uncovered that the man was stabbed by a family member.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Shannon Christopher Shingoose, who is wanted on charges of Aggravated Assault and Assault with a Weapon.
