A man arrested in connection with a serious assault in Dauphin last weekend has made an initial court appearance.
36-year-old Brendan Komarnicki was charged after a 37-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Winnipeg.
Komarnicki remains in custody until his next scheduled appearance on June 24
Meanwhile, Sheldon "Benny" Larocque also returned to court late last week.
He is accused of breaking into a Dauphin home on April 29th, uttering threats to a woman and injuring a dog.
His matters were put over until tomorrow, with him remaining in custody as well.
