The Dauphin Public Library will be participating, for the first time, in National Canadian Film Day.
Director for the Dauphin Public Library, Jean-Louis Guillas says, they have many films to show.
"We are going to be playing National Film Board short films. There is two separate playlists that we're going to be showing throughout the afternoon. First one will start at one and then at three and some of the films are as short as two minutes and some are like 10 or 13."
Guillas says he is happy that the library gets to take part in this national day.
"It's a real treat to be able to highlight another Canadian art form. And it's a great opportunity to jump on board."
Later on, around 7pm you can check out the movie Hyena Road at the Countryfest Communtiy Cinema. Admission is $5 for all ages.
