McCreary School says you can have fun and help out a good cause at the same time.
The school is holding its first ever Spring Carnival Fundraiser on Thursday.
Resource Teacher Erin Duchart says the school is using the carnival to raise money for a very important program at the school.
"For the majority of it, it will go towards our gym fund to buy more equipment in the gym."
Duchart says they wanted to do the carnival after they heard about another school doing it.
"The kids really enjoyed it. It was a good way to bring the community in to the school as well. We're not just having it just as a school fundraiser. It's open to the public, so anyone in the community or the outlying community."
Tickets are $3 for five tickets, or $5 for 10 tickets. You can buy hotdogs, popcorn, and punch.
The school will also hold a raffle for a summer package, including lawn chairs, camping equipment, and sidewalk chalk.
The Spring Carnival Fundraiser will go from 5:30 to 7:30pm on Thursday at the McCreary School.
