The Gilbert Plains Garden Tour is scheduled for July 19th starting at the emergency services building 

Yesterday Afternoon the Dauphin Fire Department responded to a fire south of the city.

In July of 1926, a special act of parliament, was issued thus creating what would later be known as "The Royal Canadian Legion".

A Rossburn cattle producer went to check his cattle after the long weekend to find cattle missing and 2 of them dead.

 

Kalvin Kreshewski had a total of 21 cows and 30 calves taken.

 

The two cows that died were locked in the catch pen and died from not having enough water to drink.

 

The value of the cattle would be $60 thousand to $70 thousand dollar. 

 

The Carberry Ag Fair and Races is scheduled for July 7th, 8th and 9th.

The Shell River Jamboree will be happening on July 7th, 8th and 9th in Boggy Creek.

There is a barn fire 3 Km south of Dauphin on highway 5. Emergency crews are currently on the scene. 730 CKDM will have the full story tomorrow.
