July 11th will be a celebration of Dauphin's birthday and there will be lots going on in the city on that day.
One of the events is a CN Ecoconnexions Tree Dedication.
Sharla Griffiths, Assistant Chief Administrative Officer for Dauphin talks about which trees will be dedicated.
"There are 3 special trees in CN park, that was a requirement of the grant. The 3 trees are a Maple tree signifying Canada, a White Spruce signifying Manitoba and a Birch tree signifying our Indigenous peoples."
Throughout Dauphin, the city has planted almost 150 trees, mostly on boulevards.
