A lack of snow in Winnipeg has caused the Festival du Voyageur to make some fake snow for the event.
Snow is needed on the grounds to for the snow sculpting competition that attracts people from the world to participate.
Approximately 200 truckloads will have to be brought in.
Last year’s festival was met with rapid melting temperatures causing sculptures to melt and excess water on the grounds.
