Some businesses won't open today in Swan River because of the state of emergency.
On Saturday, the public works crew noticed water stopped flowing to the treatment plant.
The town brought in two semi-trailer loads of bottled water for residents and portable toilets are set up in the wash bay of the Swan Valley Co-op.
Should the resources run out, the Red Cross is on stand-by.
The next update from the Town will be released around 9 this morning.
