This year’s Red Shoe Crew Walk took place over the weekend in Dauphin.
The walk took place at Vermillion Park in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. The proceeds from the event will help support the Ronald McDonald House in Winnipeg. Dauphin event coordinator Curtis Kaleta talks about his personal connection to the event and why it’s significant.
“It’s important to me because of my family background with the house, having stayed there before. As well as knowing numerous people around the community that have stayed there as well.”
So far the Dauphin walk has raised 7,300 dollars.
