The Dauphin Public Library has released their 2016 annual report.
A number of changes took place during 2016 for the Library, including two other Parkland libraries.
Library Director Jean-Louis Guillas feels the addition of two new libraries into the greater Parkland community was a big step forward.
"It was a very busy year for the regional library and for our staff because we took on two other libraries -- Eriksdale and Ste. Rose -- who had established libraries, but they were operating independently and they joined our regional system this year."
Other additions include adult programming broadcast on Access TV and Westman Cable, as well as renovations to the interior of the facility.
