Today is the final day of the 110th Royal Manitoba Winter Fair.
Yesterday brought thousand of visitors to Provincial Exhibition with the Lord Strathcona's Horse Mounted Troop a crowd favourite.
CKDM has been following this year's fair extensively throughout the week, and for President Kathy Cleaver the annual festival is more then just a show.
"You'll hear me say this often the fair is a place where you keep it real, and that you can see it, feel it, smell it, touch it you know hear it [...] It's a place where families can engage, you can bring your family and you can trust that it's a place where grandma and grandpa can bring grandkids and they can show them how they knew it, it's a tradition and it's together."
The Royal Farm Yard and lower lever Tradeshow will kick things off today running from 10 am - 7 pm.
