As warmer temperatures rise across the province, concerns of overland flooding grow.
Ste. Rose has been fortunate so far with very minimal overland flooding.
Rob Brunel, Head of Council for Ste. Rose, feels at this point things are manageable.
"Well right now we have a few areas that we have some overland flooding -- not a lot -- and you know there are some areas closer to Laurier and St. Alle that we're seeing a little bit overland flooding [...] I wouldn't say it's too bad at this point, but the Turtle River is rising so there are few roads that are closed."
In the town of Ste. Rose, there have been a few culverts plugged with ice, but overall, they have had no major complaints of flooding.
