Members of Rorketon & District Credit Union have voted in favour in amalgamating their financial cooperative with Catalyst Credit Union.
The decision was made last night at a meeting in Rorketon, where members in attendance voted unanimously in support of the proposal.
With the amalgamation, Catalyst will be the 13th largest of Manitoba's 32 credit unions.
The transition is not expected to cause any disruption in service for Rorketon members.
The merger takes effect April 1st of this year.
