Starting next week, the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba will be touring around the province, hosting community forums to discuss the dangerous opioid fentanyl.
The first stop for AFM will be the Dauphin Friendship Centre on January 11th.
Dr.'s Sheri Fandrey and Ginette Poulin will be speaking at the forum.
AFM CEO Ben Fry says there will also be a panel discussion that he hopes will provide the public, much needed information on fentanyl.
"The purpose of the panel, is to provide an opportunity to local folks to provide information. But also to have an option for those in attendance to ask questions and have their concerns heard. And also have people leave the forum with a greater confidence and sense in the issues surrounding fentanyl."
The community forum runs from 7-9 pm, and is open to the public.
