Students at the Gilbert Plains Collegiate Institute will be getting more involved in the community.
On December 17th student enrolled in the school's Intro to Tourism class will be holding an event titled Winter Wonderland.
Samantha Robak who's a student enrolled in the class, says the event is to help increase services within the community.
"The Winter Wonderland is mainly about all the services of Gilbert Plains being together for one whole day to increase services in each other."
The event begins at 9 am and runs all day until 10 pm.
