Asessippi Ski Resort is open for business.
The ski resort located in Asessippi Provincial Park ran it's first chair at 11 this morning, with a number of old and new features to be included for the new season.
According to Assistant Manager Shannon Johnston they're all ready to go.
"We are all super excited to be finally open here we've been working around the clock 24 hours a day, our outdoor crews since last Thursday have been making snow, they were out right till this morning pushing snow over the end loads, moving snow guns as we speak... we have new staff starting today, old staff returning and seeing each other for the first time in a while."
Asessippi Ski Area & Resort is the largest ski area in the Prairies offering 26 downhill runs.
