Mountain View School Division's five year Division Plan was once again a major talking point at last night's board meeting.
The plan is set to run until 2021, with Henderson Elementary School taking the same approach in meeting the standards set by MVSD.
Principal Ronda Casavant at Henderson Elementary, says the school's goals focus around five core themes.
"We're moving into a new five year plan and with our five year plan we have aligned our goals to the same goals as the Mountain View School Division's Strategic Plan...so we have five big areas that we are focusing on, those being; Literacy, Numeracy, Career Education, Safe and Caring Schools and Positive Mental Health.
The Board Division plan is a comprehensive document, and will be revised on at least a quarterly basis by the Division Planning Team says MVSD.
