Young Pilot Killed in Plane Crash
A 22-year-old man is dead after a plane crashed in a farmer's field near Rocanville, Saskatchewan.
R-C-M-P released the age and gender of the victim yesterday but did not release a name.
Moosomin R-C-M-P and emergency services were called at approximately 6;15 p.m. Friday night.
The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pay Your Water Bills, Whether They Arrive in Mail or Not
The City of Dauphin is mailing out water bills today.
CAO Brad Collett mentioned at last night's council meeting that with there currently being no postal service disruption, they're rolling the dice that everybody will get them
whatever happens, Mayor Eric Irwin says people have a responsibility to pay their water bill on time.
"So whether you get it in the mail or don't get it in the mail, you have to pay on time... we're not picking on anybody, I have to, everybody that pays a water bill in town has to," says Irwin.
Collett says residents should contact the city if they don't receive their bill by July 22.

Calgary Police Issue Amber Alert for Missing Girl
A five-year-old girl is missing in Calgary, and police believe she was abducted.
Calgary police have issued an Amber Alert for Taliyah Leigh Marsman.
They describe her as mixed-race, with a slim build, curly brown hair and brown eyes.
It's believed she was taken from an address on Panamount Boulevard in northwest Calgary on Monday.
A vehicle thought to be involved in her abduction has been recovered.

No Tomato Juice Needed After RCMP Save a Skunk
Manitoba RCMP say two of their officers recently came to the aid of a starving skunk with a Tim Hortons cup stuck on its head.
Mounties posted a video to Twitter showing Constables Kyle Van de Sype and Catlin Lang catching the skunk, covering it with a tarp and removing the cup.
The skunk is seen running off into the night, able to eat once again, while the officers congratulate themselves for saving it.
RCMP say no officers were sprayed during the rescue.

The City of Sunshine is 118 years old, and Tourism Dauphin is celebrating with a contest.
Tourism Dauphin and Dauphin Economic development's Facebook pages have a picture detailing the rules of the contest.
It's a birthday mad lib, and the deadline to enter is tomorrow at noon.
The winner gets some shwag, including a night out for two at the Countryfest Community Cinema.
