Tomorrow is Aboriginal Day, and if you are wanting to take part in the festivities there will be some in Dauphin and Winnipegosis.
In Dauphin, the Campbell Band and the Parkland Tappers Square Dancers will be performing at 505 Main Street South from 11am-2pm and in Winnipegosis from 5pm-8pm at the Youth Center, there will be entertainment from the Winnipegosis Elementary School Fiddlers, D-town Steppers and the Parkland Tappers.
Vice President of the North West region for Manitoba Metis Federation, Francis Chartrand says it's important to celebrate this day with the public.
"We want them to know our language, we want them to know about our dance, we want them to know about our food, we want everyone to know about how rich our culture is and we want to share it with everybody."
Both events are free admission and there will be face painting, door prizes, as well as food and beverages.
