Camp Day at Tim Hortons on Wednesday was a successful one.
Manager, Marie Campbell says they went over their initial goal of $5,000.

"The coffee sales we raised almost $2,500 we had a lot of bracelet sales as well and we also raised $600 from our yard sale. So with starting from the week of the 23rd we raised over $6,000 this year."

Camp Day is a day where Tim Horton's gives 100% of the money made from coffee sales will go to camps across Canada to help send kids to camp who may not have the opportunity too.

Campbell says it was a pretty good day.

"This year the yard sale was the biggest one we've had. Everyone came together and it seemed like everyone worked harder, everyone asked more questions about how Camp Day works, how we do it in our store. It just seemed really good this year."

Campbell also says that being able to raise this much makes herself and everyone at Tim's feel good.
