Through the rain and the cold, volunteers for the Canadian Diabetes Association stuck it out in hopes to fill a semi trailer full of clothes this past weekend for the clothesline drive.
Volunteer, Sue Petersen says the drive was okay, but it was nothing like last year's
"We're not where we were this time last year, but there is a lot of stuff going on. So I mean, anything we could get we would be happy to get it."
Petersen adds that the Parkland's support was great.
"We have had half ton trucks come in from Ste. Rose, McCreary, Gilbert, Grandview, Winnipegosis, all over."
This was the 16th year that the clothes line drive has taken place.
