About 400 customers and both schools in Laurier lost their power for a couple of hours today.
Manitoba Hydro Public Affairs Officer Bruce Owen says a tractor struck a Hydro pole just north of McCreary around 11am, snapping it clean off.
A receptionist at the Ecole Jours de Plaine school says their power came back around 1pm.
