After popular demand, the Anxiety Disorder Association of Manitoba will be hosting a "Helping Your Anxious Child" seminar today.
Outreach Coordinator for the Anxiety Disorder Association of Manitoba, Charity Standrick says they normally only deal with people 18 and over, but they thought they could help out parents.
"We thought that we could help parents be more resourceful and have more information to help manage their children and teach them different coping techniques. So Dr. John Walker, who is a psychologist, has offered his time to come and do these free publications for us."
The seminar starts at 6:30pm to 8pm at the Dauphin Community Health Office. This presentation is free for parents and the general public to attend.
