Dauphin RCMP are on the search for a suspect after a 1st avenue business reported an attempted robbery.
The report says that a lone male had entered the store at roughly 11:30 am, waited for other customers to leave, and presented the clerk with a note stating that he had a bomb.
The note also asked the employee to not press the panic button, and demanded cash.
The suspect fled on foot with nothing, and there were no injuries.
Officers began patrols immediately but were not able to locate the suspect.
The suspect was described as wearing a black face covering, black hoodie, grey pants, and possibly black Converse shoes.
Dauphin RCMP are asking anyone with information to please call the detachment at 204-622-5020.
