If a career in health care is something of interest to you, then Assiniboine College's Parkland Campus wants to see you tonight (Thursday).
Campus director Carol Stewart says they are holding a special open house.
"We will be starting at 6:30 in the evening at our campus, located at 520 Whitmore Avenue East in Dauphin. We are going to be providing lots of information about two programs that we offer at the Parkland Campus. That is our Practical Nursing program and our Comprehensive Health Care Aide certificate."
Stewart adds they strongly encourage anyone interested in applying for either of these courses to attend this event.
"We are going to present information on both programs and admission requirements, we are going to offer a tour of the campus, and we will answer any questions and help with any applications."
The Comprehensive Health Care Aide program is a six-month course that will begin in January, while the Practical Nurse course begins in September of 2025 and runs for 2 years.
