Manitoba First Nations Police Service have laid charges against a Sandy Bay First Nations man following an incident on the reserve last Friday.
Just after 6 pm, police say they were called to a home on Little Ridge Road North to investigate a report of a man with a shotgun.
When they arrived, four men fled the scene on foot.
Officers were able to chase down and arrest one man, and a subsequent search of the suspect turned up amounts of meth, cocaine, and cash.
No weapon was ever located.
29-year-old Austin Houle faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and failing to comply with a release order.
He was also arrested on other outstanding warrants on previous matters.
