The City of Dauphin is expected to discuss passenger flight schedules to and from the Dauphin airport with Perimeter Airlines today.
Perimeter's decision to put Dauphin on a 120 day trial period to determine the viability of continuing service here, as well as a possible decision to cut down service on October 9 to two days per week was brought up at last night's city council meeting.
Deputy mayor Al Dowhan says he's very concerned about it.
"It's a necessary cog in our sort of economic development infrastructure that you have daily air service to your community and this throws a little bit of a curve to us."
CAO Brad Collett says Perimeter wants to hear what days of the week the city thinks make the most sense for flying.
