The Manitoba Government has said Lifeflight will continue without its two Citation jets.
This is happening because highly specialized Lifeflight employees that are essential to the Citation aircraft are changing.
Recruiting replacement staff is very difficult.
The province is replacing the citation jets with private carriers as early as later this month.
The citation jets being grounded will leave a bit of a hole to fill, they were used 50 per cent of the time last year.
