A 23-year-old man was shot and killed by Winnipeg police following a string of violent incidents.
Family members have identified the man fatally shot as Adrian Lacquette, the youngest of Jo-Anne Malcolm's 11 children.
Police say they were called after a woman was assaulted, a business was robbed, and a woman's vehicle was stolen.
Malcolm says her son used to be in a street gang but had given up the lifestyle. She says she wants answers on why her son was shot.
