Local Dauphin producer Don Dewar is currently at the final day of the Keystone Agricultural Producer's AGM today.
A wide variety of topics and resolutions have been talked about and passed.
Dewar spoke to a resolution he is in favour of, concerning better ambulance support and training for rural area transport:
“Every municipality in the province now has named or numbered their roads, and part of the problem there is some have named them and some have numbered them. At every yard site now there is a little blue sign that has a number to it that is unique to that yard site. But somehow the ambulance people, or the fire department people, you give them that number, it doesn’t mean anything to them. So it’s a training and communication thing we need to work on.”
Stay tuned to 730 CKDM tomorrow for more on KAP's AGM wrapping up.
