A special screening of the documentary, Human Trafficking: Canada’s Secret Shame, is going to be playing tomorrow in Dauphin.
“The documentary has been created by the Joy Smith Foundation and it’s called ‘Human Trafficking: Canada’s Secret Shame’,” explained Nicole Yunker. “So I’ve seen the documentary and it features all Canadian content. It is really interesting because it is taken from the perspective of service providers, people who rescue and support people who’ve been trafficked, the people who have been trafficked themselves and also family members who have lost family to trafficking."
The presentation is free at the Dauphin Countryfest Community Cinema and doors open at 6:00 in the evening.
