With the warm weather and lack of snow in the Parkland, the Dauphin and District Snowmobile Club has had to make some tough decisions.
President George Carrier says, for safety reasons, a number of trails were closed.
“We’ve had to close the smaller sections of trail that we’ve opened because they deteriorated to the point that they weren’t safe to keep open.”
Carrier says it’s been tough with the warm weather and rain that recently fell in the Parkland.
Some snowmobilers have decided to drive to areas like Swan River to find places with enough snow.
