Nominations are open for the Manitoba Canola Growers Association election process that began this morning.
The process of nominations runs until the 31st at which time Executive Director Delaney Ross Burtnack hopes enough individuals have been nominated to hold an election. Burntack talks about the nomination process.
“They can go to, anyone who is interested in more information or downloading the nomination form, can go to our website it’s Canolagrowers.com and under “About mcga” there is an elections section. Within there is information about becoming a director, the benefits of doing so, and how to do so.”
This is the first election process where the Manitoba Canola Growers Association is holding their elections online, in an effort to reach more canola growers.
Burtnack would love to have representation from the Parkland area. She would appreciate having people on the board who are able to represent this part of the province.
