Open Farm day is taking place this weekend. There are many participating farms in the Parkland including Farmery Estate Brewery.
Lawrence Warwaruk , one of the founders talks about what visitors will see when they visit the Neepawa business.
“What we’re going to do guarantee is that there’s something going on at the brewery for sure. That way we can showcase our hops that we are harvesting at the farm and also the barley that we are growing on the farm too. Of course the barley harvest is kinda over. I would say about a month ago already that we harvested our barley. What we want to do is showcase how those ingredients are utilised here at the brewery. And we’ll be conducting tours all day long, starting at 10 o’clock in the morning. And then in conjunction with that we’re going to be celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We’re opening up our doors to folks to allow them to have that tour and see how our brewing process is done throughout the day and then finish it off with a band and pulled pork supper.”
To get to Farmery Estate Brewery drive down the number 5 highway. They are located at the corner of 16 highway and 5 on the west side.
